While the pen and notebook note taking system was what I used and relied upon until I was in college, I needed something more once I started to work.
Back when I first started to work in 2015, the only note taking app I frequently heard about was Evernote. The scenario was totally different few years ago. When it comes to note taking, there are at least half a dozen options that I can readily think of - Evernote, OneNote, Notion, Roam Research, Obsidian, Bear etc. Given how technology is currently driving our lives, there seems to be some app or service available to meet a lot of day to day needs. How I got started with digital note taking Being someone who is very much into keeping note of things and journaling, my note taking system has started with the former and evolved into the latter. What’s common though is some sort of personal system which evolves over time to meet our needs of note-taking and better organizing - it could be a simple physical notebook where all the ideas and thoughts are jotted down or a digital app that enables us to store tons of information in a readily accessible platform. Depending on how we spend the day and our own personal preferences, note taking can vary a lot from person to person. Whether we are students taking classes in college or working professionals, we do have the need to take note of things during the day to day routine.
